We're parents! We have a precious little son.
Gideon Kruize Olson was born on Wednesday, the 20th. He's been in the NICU since shortly after birth with breathing problems, pneumonia, possible meningitis... He's doing alright, but it seems like it will be a long road to recovery.
We are adopting Gideon from my dear cousin. We are completely amazed by this gift she is giving us. Her love for Gideon is so evident; no human will ever give us a more wonderful gift than this one. We are so blessed.
Please be in prayer for Gideon and his road to recovery. We'll try to keep you updated and I promise to put pictures up soon.

We are SO excited that Gideon is here. We are praying for you guys and can't wait to see and meet our new little nephew/cousin! We love you guys and are continuing to pray that Gideon will improve health wise. We are also praising God and praying for your cousin....what a wonderful gift she has given to you guys!! We love you!!
