Christmas gifts

Last night, Pete gave us a couple really great Christmas gifts. Krista, Pete, Ole & I enjoyed playing trivia on our TV (like the kind they have at restaurants) and Wii Sports Resort. Wish I had a video of Pete canoeing on the Wii...

If you ever come visit us, we have lots of fun games waiting for you!

FYI

Last night I had a dream that I was Paris Hilton's personal assistant.

Cozy, Quiet Christmas

It was Ole's turn to work this Christmas, so we stayed in Rochester for Christmas and have enjoyed a quiet Christmas with Krista. We were supposed to get a rather large snowstorm, but mostly have been getting rain. Makes for a slushy mess outside...so I plan to stay inside today. I'm thinking about not changing out of my pajamas.

We opened gifts yesterday and we'll open stockings when Ole gets home. Quite a quiet Christmas.

In dog news, Lucy lost half a tooth in a dog fight with Bailey. Seriously? And currently, Lucy is staring at the stairs and whining, because she knows Bailey is down there in Krista's room. What an odd couple.

On Monday, we enjoyed a fun day with the lovely Murrays! My favorite brother also made an appearance. We Wiied, enjoyed some HuHot, and played some board games. We are quite the wild bunch.

All our company is now gone, save one boisterous black lab. Bailey is a sweetie who enjoys breathing in people's faces, grunting like she's having a conversation with you, and making a break for it.

Mutual I'm Sure...

My lovely cousin Amy came down for the weekend and we had our first annual Christmas baking weekend. We enjoyed making a variety of tasty treats, and then we enjoyed two of the best Christmas movies ever: "White Christmas" and "Santa Claus Conquers the Martians." This was my first time watching the latter, and it did not disappoint. I highly recommend it! After church on Sunday, we enjoyed playing some new games before Amy left.

Good fun was had by all.

Frigid Fargo

We spent the weekend in Fargo, celebrating Christmas with the Olsons.
Fun things included:
*Time with our ridiculously adorable nieces and nephews, including lots of cuddle time with the newest of the bunch.
*Ole bought me a Snuggie. He had an incredibly difficult time with this, despite the fact that the coupons he had made it free.
*Church at Triumph, message by Pastor Jeff.

Fargo is really actually a great place. Lots of good people, lots of fun things to do. If it weren't for the frigid temperature.....

Well, I think this post is sufficient for now. I hope you're not too disappointed in me, Sarah Fisher.
